What Is Aging in Place Remodeling?
Aging-in-place remodeling focuses on making a home safer and more accessible without sacrificing style or comfort. These renovations help homeowners remain independent and continue living in the home they love, even as mobility, balance, or physical abilities change over time.
Rather than waiting until accessibility becomes a necessity, many homeowners are proactively incorporating aging-in-place features into kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, home additions, and whole-home remodeling projects.

Our Remodeling Process
-
Start by calling (901) 207-5886 or filling out our contact form. We’ll schedule a time to visit your home, see your current space, and talk about your goals. Our approach is simple: we listen first, answer your questions, and explain what to expect from the remodeling process.
Next, we’ll provide an estimated price range for your project. Because selections like cabinets, countertops, and fixtures affect the final cost, we start with a range rather than an exact quote.
If you’re comfortable with the estimate, we’ll collect a small retainer (typically 3%) and proceed to the design and selection phase.
-
During this phase, our team begins transforming your ideas into a detailed and actionable remodeling plan. We’ll visit your home to take precise measurements and gather the information needed to create a customized design tailored to your space, style, and goals.
Next, we’ll present your design concepts and guide you through product selections, including cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, finishes, and other key details that bring your vision to life. Once selections are made, we’ll refine the design, make any requested revisions, and finalize all construction documents to ensure every detail is clearly defined before work begins.
To move your project into the construction phase, we’ll review the final construction contract together and collect the required deposit so we can begin scheduling and preparing for your remodel.
-
With plans finalized, it’s time to bring your remodel to life. Our production phase begins with project scheduling and site preparation, including demolition and coordination of all materials, trades, and timelines. Throughout construction, your dedicated project manager will oversee every detail, provide ongoing communication, and ensure your project stays on track from start to finish.
As the remodel nears completion, we’ll walk through the space with you to create a final punch list and address any remaining details to ensure everything meets our quality standards—and yours.
Once the project is complete and approved, we’ll collect the final payment and celebrate the transformation of your newly remodeled space.
-
Now comes the best part—enjoying your beautifully transformed home. Whether it’s gathering in your new kitchen, relaxing in a spa-inspired bathroom, or entertaining in an upgraded living space, we want you to feel confident and excited about the investment you’ve made in your home.
At Robbins Construction, our commitment to quality doesn’t end when construction is complete. We stand behind our craftsmanship and provide warranty support for added peace of mind long after your project is finished. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re always here if questions arise after move-in day.
